Why Join the Beta?
FalconryLab is building the first purpose-built falconry management platform for iOS, designed from the ground up by practicing falconers who understand the daily demands of raptor care. Beta testers get early access to features that are actively being developed based on real falconer feedback, including weight tracking with predictive analytics, feeding calculators built from field-tested data, and a training journal that captures weather and GPS automatically.
As a beta tester, you are not just trying software early. You are directly shaping what gets built next. Every feature request, bug report, and usability observation from our beta community influences the product roadmap. Testers who joined in our initial cohort have already driven major improvements to the weight management interface, the feeding calculator algorithms, and the offline sync system that ensures your data is never lost even in remote hunting locations without cell coverage.
Beta access is free and comes with no obligation beyond honest feedback. You will have a direct line to the development team through in-app reporting and dedicated communication channels. When FalconryLab launches publicly, beta testers will receive recognition in the app and priority access to premium features as a thank-you for helping build something genuinely useful for the falconry community.
What to Expect
The beta program runs in rolling cohorts. Once accepted, you will receive a TestFlight invitation to install FalconryLab on your iPhone. New builds are released every one to two weeks with bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features. You can expect occasional rough edges and evolving interfaces, which is normal for beta software, but the core functionality of weight tracking, feeding logs, and training sessions is stable and reliable for daily use.
Your data is portable and secure throughout the beta period. Everything you log in the app is stored locally on your device and backed up through encrypted iCloud sync. If you decide to leave the beta at any point, you can export all your records in standard formats. We are committed to ensuring that no falconer loses valuable bird management data because of a software transition.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome falconers of all experience levels, from apprentices preparing for their first bird to master falconers managing multiple raptors across species. The most valuable beta testers are those who will use the app regularly during their active flying season and provide specific, actionable feedback about what works and what does not. You do not need technical expertise, just a willingness to share your honest experience as a falconer using digital tools in the field.
